HEAVER magazines is the stylish quarterly publication which I created and headed up as Editor.
London-based property company Heaver commissioned me to create a brand new local property and lifestyle magazine to attract new clients and build on their already well-respected reputation. The aim of the game was to celebrate the best of south-west London – restaurants, celebrities, style, property – and present it in an aspirational fashion with a quality to rival national glossies.
What did we do? The whole shebang from concept and positioning to full-glory glossy magazine.
Not one to shy away from a big juicy project, I hand-picked London’s finest freelancers for the HEAVER magazine team, including designers, photographers and illustrators. I commissioned local comedian Arthur Smith to write a quarterly column, philosopher Julian Baggini to ponder life’s bizarre and mysterious quandaries and Gordon Ramsay to share recipes. I also interviewed a host of local celebrities including fashion designer Orla Keily.
My bespoke service covered creative strategy, editorial content, photography, illustration, project management, copy editing, proofing and print management…
